rClient is in BETA phase, so don't use it if you do not know exactly what that means

?: so, what is rClient ?
!: rClient is an ip camera recorder, it can be used to record video streams (rtsp/mjpg etc) from ip cameras.

?: there are approx 1.000.000 program like this, why a new one?
!: rClient is using on a 200MHz arm CPU, recording 10 video streams at once approx 20% CPU ( WOW !!!)

?: Does that mean it can run WITHOUT problems on my Linux NAS, Linux sat / cable receiver / low performace x86 CPU ?
!: Yes, exactly.

?: What OSes are supported?
!: Only Linux for now. It is precomiled for ARM, X86 and MIPSel. Maybe Windows with cygwin soon.

?: Do I need any library?
!: No, all is written new from scratch. So just the binary below and a config file, that's it. All is inside, even the images for the webfrontend.

?: What does it cost and where can I get it ?
!: it costs $5 without support per cam, ($20 with support per cam) and can be downloaded below. But for now the cownload is deactivated and avaiable for small group of testers. If you want to be a tester, please contact me via mail

?: Which and what cameras are supported?
!: Almost all ip cameras on the market which supports rtsp / mpeg4 / h.264 / asf / mjpeg. But for sure the listed below are tested ones. This list is also under construction and will grow soon...
